One of the major ports that belongs to the Basin, Malierunne lies upon the southern coast some 250 miles South East of the Capitol upon the great Southern Ocean. It is the mainstay of Southern trade and brings in much revenue from the isles of Calvarg. Notably it is only a few miles east of the dread forests of the Evil Dreff wood and its surrounding swamps, indeed the great Volcano of Dreff can be seen from the great tower of Nim-Ravi in Malierunne above the swaying trees.
